Great short story! It was engaging, interesting and exciting. A real page turner! I liked the characters and wanted to see them overcome the obstacles before them. The ending was satisfying! It was a quick and easy read and great when you don't have a lot of time to read a longer story. In such a short time the author conveyed emotion, concern, devotion, and overcoming adversity. I enjoyed reading it immensely and can't wait to read the next story he writes!
An excellent short story portraying a testament of Faith. Reminding us if we want change we have to be strong enough to look for it in ourselves first.
A short story that went from zero to 100 and kept going. Hellvig did a good job with this short story-he did not get bogged down with character development yet the reader gets a deep view into the the souls of the ladies involved (TJ & Vicki). Having read Hellvig's 'second' work 'Amazing Grace'prior to reading his admitted first work here, I enjoyed the insight and action. Waiting for your next work Mr. Hellvig, good job and thank you.
